About CruzCtrl

CruzCtrl is a small business in the San Francisco Bay Area that helps people build their own custom USB cables for mechanical keyboards.

Joshua Cruz started CruzCtrl in 2020, making sleeved keyboard cables and posting how-to videos on the CruzCtrl YouTube channel. What began as tutorials turned into a shop for the parts those videos use: USB connectors, cable, paracord, PET sleeving, heatshrink and detachable connectors, plus all-in-one DIY kits. Since then we've shipped more than 6,400 DIY cable kits to builders around the world.

What we offer

• Individual cable parts, cut and packed by hand.
• Custom pre-built cables, coiled or straight, built to your specs.
• Free tutorials: video guides, a step-by-step picture guide and wiring diagrams.
